Oh look, words!
Well, this is different! Yes the rest of the website is devoted to pictures, and it shows it, but I don't only take and draw pictures. I also enjoy writing in my free time. I have written many short stories as well as scripts for videos. I have also written a script composed entirely of monologues that was performed in front of a live audience at Winchester, Ontario's Old Town Hall theater. It can be found on my Script Writing page. For more stories continue to the More Writing page afterwards. I warn you, some(if not most) are not happy stories.
Dear Inmate 34 106Dear Inmate 34 106,
My father, a reputable psychiatrist, thought you were insane. I dismissed his judgements and called him "over-protective", but he remained convinced. Thus, when the time came for you to ask his blessing, he refused. Overwhelmed by emotion, I made statements that I now believe to have been poorly phrased. I believe my exact words were: "I wish he was out of my life completely, so that I could marry you." You can imagine my surprise then, when he was found murdered. Even more so, the surprise of finding out it was you. This of course brings me to answer the question you so dramatically asked in the court room on the day of your verdict: "Will you marry me?" The words have echoed through my mind since that day. I, of course, at the time replied negatively, but I have spent many nights alone debating whether or not that was a good decision, or if my judgement had been impaired due to both the depression and stress brought on by the death of my father. I have reached a conclusion that many seem to disagree upon, but I believe it to be the right decision. This conclusion, of course, is that you do not love me enough for me or our unborn child, surprise, to spend the rest of our lives with you. This may come as a shock to you but I trust that in time you will learn to accept my decision. Hoping to see you soon, Sara PS - Don't drop the soap. |
